Pentagon and CIA at War in Syria

For anyone that is thinking about voting for Hillary Clinton to continue Obama's administration, you need to read this article:

Pentagon and CIA at War in Syria by Eric Margolis

The foreign-policy of this administration is a colossal cluster! Who's in charge? It would be laughable if it wasn't so serious.

Russia in part finances the PKK, not sure about the YPG, but both the PKK and YPG don't see eye to eye. Ojallan tries to keep them unified, despite being in prison, but it's not working. The DHKPC is another story. There are two distinct groups of Kurds (a Turkish word for the sound while walking in the snow). Most of the Kurds in Iran speak Azeri and are often counted as Azeri. The Kurds were tactically responsible for killing the Armenians for the Pasha. That's another story. For awhile we were teaching the wrong kind of Kurdish at DLI. Not sure if that's been fixed. Seranj and Kurmangi.

This could dovetail with Foreign Affairs article about the increase in mercenaries has increased under Obama's Administration since he took office. Part of the plausible denial plans they in the Demo party to claim they've brought the soldiers back. The other issue is how the Administration calls "boots on the ground" which does a disservice to anyone and all in the fight. The last issue was how Ash Carter was hiding the fact that these so-called 2000 DOD personnel (which is really 14,000) are getting hazardous duty pay!

It's weird how the Western media outlets capitalized on the plight of the Yzidis who are not well-liked by anybody. Frankly and much to my ignorance they are weird people. Animists I think and they have very, very strange religious rituals. Being up in those areas gives me the shivers when ever we ran into a Yzidis village. Not well to talk over dinner. However, it drew at least 10 minutes of attention. The Levits and Palestinians (a made up term) is wholly another issue. For the ignorance of the West, Arab tribes learn to differentiate who is who on the battlefield. Where do you make and draw alliances? You must know all the tribes. And most Palestinians don't belong to a tribe hence they have no rights or privileges in Saudi Arabia, Oman, or wherever on that peninsula. So, it deserves careful observations. This was part of our Phase 0 battle prepping and environment shaping. Nobody knew what except several parts of what war burgeoning into the Free Syria Army might have been the way to go. However, in 2012 the State Department took over everything and DOD was told to butt out. Flight after flight of material was being dropped into Syria, but to whom? Turned out, ISIS.

As a matter of how ignorant we in the West are: I have four different tribal kafiyehs and they are really nice. We learned which ones not to where, when, and why. I have a nice generic military one distro'd by the Brits and Aussie SAS, because they had some sense. Some smart dudes in 5th Group reminded folks to have one when operating throughout the hinterland. Did folks really pay attention, NO. For some reason our leaders weren't told to go get one as they should. It shouldn't be the red checkered Italian looking table cloth: that's reserved for those who made the hajj. The other point is the igal, or that band which secure the kafiyeh. There's a rank structure, not to mention how you wear your taub/tunic. Our World War II counterparts were much more adept, smarter operators. It's probably because they didn't have TV.

ISIS/ISIL/DAESH was around in Fallujah in 2004/5 time frame, so, they are not of US manufacture.
